I came up with this recipe because my husband loves and always asks for Chicken Parmesan. I had jumbo shells sitting in my pantry, and decided to put the two together. I loved the way this recipe came out because it is layered in so much flavor and still tastes just like the classic Chicken Parmesan but even better!

How to make Chicken Parmesan Jumbo Shells

Stuffing

  1. Preheat oven at 400 Degrees F.
  2. Season Chicken Breast on both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano.
  3. Coat chicken first with eggs then dip in flour.
  4. Sprinkle bread crumbs on both sides of the chicken.
  5. Bake chicken until tender.
  6. Allow to cool down and dice the chicken into small cubes.

Bechamel Sauce

I like using a creamy milk sauce instead of ricotta cheese when stuffing any pasta. This sauce will create texture and won’t result in a dry mixture. Here’s how to make it!

  1. Using a sauce pan over medium-high heat, melt the butter.
  2. Once the butter has melted, sift the flour and mix in with the butter. Mix until the consistency is golden in color.
  3. Pour the milk one cup at a time, stirring in between.
  4. Sauce should thicken as you are mixing.
  5. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Set aside.

Pasta

  1. Cook jumbo pasta shells according to instructions.
  2. Rinse with cold water and set aside.

Assembling

1 .Preheat oven
2. Grease baking dish.
3. In a large bowl mix together bechamel sauce with the chicken and grated Parmesan cheese.
4. On the backing dish pour a little bit of pasta sauce.
5. Stuff each jumbo shell with the chicken Parmesan mixture.
6. Sprinkle bread crumbs on top of the first layer, then pasta sauce, and repeat until all jumbo shells are stuffed.
7. Bake at preheated oven and covered with aluminum foil until pasta and cheese are cooked well together. Enjoy!
